Around St. Petersburg, specialist offices tend to cluster near hospitals and in medical office parks, and wait times for a consultation run from a few days for an endodontist to several weeks for a busy orthodontist. Most consultations across Florida are free or low-cost and come with a written treatment plan and price; ask whether the fee is in-network for your plan, what sedation options exist and how many visits the treatment takes. A second opinion is normal for implants, jaw surgery and full-mouth reconstruction, and reputable specialists expect it.

St. Petersburg is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around St. Petersburg is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Dr. Kan and her staff were brilliant, I couldn’t have asked for better service! I went in for a double root canal of two teeth next to each other. Their efficiency and care blew away any expectations I had. Incredible work, I appreciate everyone at the DowntownEndodontist office, you guys and gals truly set the bar high.

I was referred to Dr. Kan by my dentist. I was concerned as her staff dis not seem friendly (with exception of one) but Dr Kan spent time with me to understand what happened. She explained a few things that I was unaware of and I appreciated her time. She is knowledgeable and a reputable endodontist.

While going to an endodontist is never a fun day, I have to give Dr. Elena Kan and her associates very high marks. She and her staff were caring, compassionate and professional .They did everything they could to make my procedure (3 hours) as comfortable as possible. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Kan and her staff.

I would like to express my gratitude to the amazing doctor Elena Kan. She made my treatment as comfortable as possible, a professional in her field, very attentive to details, neat and caring. Many thanks to all the medical staff of the office who were very polite, worried about my condition and comfort. I just want to recommend this office to everyone who has dental problems - trust this team to carry out your treatment.

Dr. Kan and her staff are caring, empathetic professionals. I had to have a root canal done and was able to get in the next day of my regular dentist calling for an appointment. The procedure as well as the recuperation went very well. Staff called the day after the procedure and I had some questions they couldn't answer. Within 15 minutes, Dr Kan returned my call with answers to all of my questions. We were coming up on a holiday weekend and she told me that if any problems arose that I shouldn't hesitate to contact her on her cell phone. It's difficult to find medical professionals who care about their patients to the extent that they can be reached through cell phone contact. I highly recommend Dr Kan's office if anyone needs an endodontist.
